500 umbrellas in one room?! Can’t wait!
A special Tuesday Update on this Labor Day week. I hope everyone had an amazing long weekend!
I want to say thank you to my two interns from the summer Cooper and Cindy. I honestly couldn’t have made it through this summer with out them. It was great having so much personality and such innovative thinkers in the office. I am sad to see school start because it means their time at Jonas has come to an end. But, I wanted to take this moment to highlight some of the amazing work they have done this summer. Cindy completely redesigned our website. I can not always articulate how I want things to look and Cindy was amazing at deciphering and delivering. Cooper, although young, was an extremely hard worker. He brought a lot of energy to our social media and was always willing to learn. I know that he will have a bright future and I am glad to have been a part of his journey early on.
This is the week everyone who has helped Jonas over the past year has waited for, the umbrellas are arriving in less than 7 days! We have come so far in such a short period of time and I want to thank everyone who has supported Jonas, you are all amazing. So, what does having 500 umbrellas in one room look like? Be sure to check out our Instagram in the next week to find out!
Not only will we (me and my family) be trying to organize 500 umbrellas, but we also will be putting together boxes for all those who pre-ordered in the last 4 months. Inside all of our boxes we will be putting some really cool extras; but, I don’t want to say too much because surprises are way more fun! If you haven’t ordered your umbrella yet, please head on over to the shop and get yours today!
Lastly, if you are following us on social media you probably saw that we are moving to San Diego. I will be starting a job running a brand new E-Commerce branch of Evergreen Research. This is not the end of Jonas by any means, as a matter of fact this is the best opportunity I have received in propelling Jonas since our inception. Nothing will change as far as engagement and drive to give back on our end and I hope you get even more engaged in the Jonas community.
That’s all for this week. Oh! And we took a trip to Niagra Falls – check out this photo!
Until next time! Be sure to check out our Project News as well – we are separating them now!
