NYC Holiday Market – Give Back with Holiday Shopping
We are back – sorry for the week off! It was a wild few days of driving, but we are finally back in Connecticut. I want to thank everyone who took us in over the last few days and broke up the unrestful sleep at rest stops (Josh, Jess, and Sherman). Especially So Worth Loving and Plywood People for taking the time to talk shop giving us some amazing advice and guidance. I video taped my entire experience – although it was less eventful than the trip out to California I think it will be quite an awesome video. We are working on that now and will hopefully have an amazing montage to share in the next week. So be on the look out for that!
Our focus over the next few weeks will be Holiday shopping. We want to encourage you to think about shopping with a purpose this holiday season. If every gift you buy is also giving back think about the impact your shopping could have on the world. It is silly to think how much good you can do just by going about your usual gift buying business. There is a brand making everything you need and doing social good, so take the time to explore the web and find gifts that are making a social or environmental difference in the world this season! Think about giving the gift of Jonas to a loved one this year – they will get an umbrella, an amazing story, and the feeling of giving all in one package.
What is in store for us now? Well we will be in NYC this week at the Center for Social Innovation Holiday Market from 12:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday December 11th (601 W 26th Street, Suite 325). All umbrellas will be on sale for $50. If you are in NYC we would love to meet you!
As always we appreciate your support, we can’t wait to celebrate the holidays with you all. Stay safe and until next week – stay dry, give water, make a difference.
